Trish Miller

American painter Trish Miller feels her creativity through the very depths of her soul. With no formal training in painting, everything she does is instinctual, visceral, and pure as she ventures on a journey to restore herself and her audience with the therapeutic potential of art. Inspired by the bold, colouristic treatments of past masters such as Gustav Klimt and Vincent van Gogh, Miller carries forward such practice in her own innovative body of work.

An obstetrician by training, Miller, is largely self-taught. She began to explore art as a means of creative release in 2017, and almost overnight, she was consumed by a love for oil paintings saturated in colour and texture. Quite literally, she bought a canvas, easel and paint, began painting, and has not stopped since. She recently began exhibiting her art, including the notable showcase of her paintings at the Mark Arts National Oil Exhibition in Wichita, Kansas.
