Christo Kasabov

The work of American Bulgarian artist Christo Kasabov is inspired by the masters of Italian High Renaissance and Post Renaissance. It is evident that his work is also influenced by the artwork of Russian abstract painter Wassily Kandinsky and the avant-garde Russian artist Kazimir Malevich.

Christo states of his creative process, “I use a complex combination of materials developed and distributed on the surface of the canvas as a challenge, contradiction and defiance of the concept of moderation.” He works with oil and acrylic on canvas. He explains his work as a “transformation of emotions”.

His work has been exhibited extensively to a global audience including group and solo showings throughout Bulgaria, Italy, Germany, Belgium, Holland, Greece, the Netherlands, USA and Canada.
