Hipworth (Tim Meyer)
Self-taught artist and designer Tim Meyer began his creative career designing gig flyers and posters for dance music events and nightclubs in his hometown of Melbourne, Australia. He later adapted his skill set to web design and has since worked as an art director on major campaigns.
Through a combination of digital and analogue collage treatments, Tim juxtaposes scenes of everyday life with esoteric landscapes to create compelling contemporary images. He cites legendary street artists Shepard Fairey, Banksy and Jean-Michel Basquiat as major influences on his work.
Having collaborated with household brand names including Bush Records, Globe, Red Bull, Pioneer and Carl Cox, Tim now primarily works within the music industry designing creative and marketing collateral for events, record labels and artists.
