Kamila Sitak

Kamila Sitak is a multi-faceted artist and creative. As a painter, interior designer (via her design studio, ArtKam), curator of balancing sculpture exhibitions, and a dancer, it is fair to say, art encompasses her life.

Dancers are a significant influence on her work. Kamila’s painting originates from the need to record the emotions and moments in life that are intertwined with dance and other forms of movement. She describes her art as a type of emotional diary. Kamila prefers working with acrylic on canvas. Her artwork is rich in texture and often features bold, striking compositions.

Kamila’s artwork features in private collections in Nigeria, the USA, Poland, China and Dubai. Her art is available online at the Saatchi online gallery and Singulart gallery. She began showing her work in 2007, and has exhibited in shows in the United States, Germany and throughout Poland. In 2008 she began collaborating with Polish sculptor Jerzy Kędziora to curate exhibitions of balancing sculptures in Poland and the UK, a role she continues to the present. She has also worked as a Curators Assistant at A-I-R at Centre of Contemporary Art, Ujazdowski Castle, Warsaw.

She is a graduate of Academy of Fine Arts Wrocław, Warsaw where she studied Interior Design. She has a diploma in Art Management from Warsaw University and received her MBA from Quest Change Managers. In addition to her creative pursuits, she is a former Dressage Rider for the Polish National Team.
