Natalia Nowak

A graduate of the Sheridan College Animal Care Program, Natalia seeks to make artwork that goes beyond aesthetics. Her works are a call to action. She draws our attention to Canada’s endangered species, with particular influence given to Toronto’s displaced wildlife. The artist invites, or even demands that we reflect upon the way we consume natural resources and the devastating effects this has on our natural environment and its inhabitants.

“My primary objective is to create a voice for the voiceless.”

Natalia is also an undergraduate student of English and Professional Writing at York University. Here, she also studied Visual Arts and Art History.

Throughout 2019, the focus of her work has centred around three series of gouache paintings. One of these series of works will continue to project her messages of sustainability. A portion of the proceeds of these works will be donated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and preservation of Canada’s wildlife and delicate ecosystems.

Natalia currently resides in Toronto, Canada where she continues to advocate for the wildlife and environment of her native land. She is available for commission upon request.
