Mădălina Mihai
Romanian artist Mădălina Mihai finds the greatest inspiration for her work in her observations on humanity and daily life. Selecting motifs and individuals she observes, Mădălina then constructs her work, primarily through acrylic on linen, creating striking and unexpected pairings of elements to see how new combinations might impact how one views or engages with her art. Mădălina accentuates this novelty through the use of bright and inviting colours as if encouraging the viewer of her work to explore and indulge.
Based in Bucharest, Mădălina is both a painter and a fine arts teacher. She has participated in numerous exhibitions and national competitions. Since 2011, however, she had devoted much of her time to reveal the splendours of the artistic universe to children and adults through team-building workshops, art club gatherings, and her own YouTube channel as part of her company, “All Eyes on Colour!”. When not painting or developing educational materials, Mădălina also works as an interior designer.
