Tam Pham

Born in Ho Chi Minh City, contemporary painter Tam Pham now resides in Seattle, Washington where she pursues a bachelor’s degree in visual art.

Of her practice, Tam states “I used to work with watercolour, acrylic and even digital illustration, however, my life was only committed to art when I was first introduced to traditional
oil paintings.”

Her subject matter has now changed focus to figurative works where she is the main subject. These works are inspired by the painters Michael Cheval, Iain Faulkner, Richard Blunt and Will Rochfort. “I choose to paint myself as the main subject in a way to express my passions and uniqueness. I think this is a distinctive way to form an intimate bond with my paintings.”

Tam is available for commission upon request.
