Amy Lee DiMare

Amy DiMare lives in Moab, UT, USA. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with an emphasis in photography from Weber State University in Ogden, UT. During her time at Weber State, she studied aboard in Venice, Italy during the 2013 Venice Biennale, and a short study road trip learning traditional photography methods. Her inspiration comes from nature, travelling and the Italian author, Calvino. The pieces she creates are an embodiment of memory, landscape, and travel becoming one experience. Using archival inkjet prints of her travel photos, she cuts and collages to create 3D imaginary landscapes. Since graduating from university, her work has featured in the Adobe software building in Provo, Utah as well as several independent galleries in Utah, and most recently by Life Framer.
