Mikhail Yashin

 
 

Freelance illustrator and designer Mikhail Yashin was born and raised in the village of Perkhushkovo, Odintsovo district, in the Moscow region. He is a self-taught artist who has also received higher medical education. 

Mikhail uses a variety of tools in his graphics work, including pencil, ink, watercolour and gouache. He is also a digital artist, proficient in raster and vector styles. Mikhail primarily works with editorial clients and has collaborated with various publishers and design studios including, publishers EKSMO and OLMA, Rovesnik-magazine, Tekhnika-molodezhi- journal, Yunost-magazine, Stoliza-magazine and Veseliye Kartinky-magazine. He is available for commissions and specialises in producing a series of works. 

He is a member of Creative Union of Artists of Russia and the Eurasian Art Union. Mikhail has exhibited throughout Moscow, including ИЗОIZO Art gallery, ‘Spring Marathon’, Ethno Art Fest, Art Geography, Russian Art Park, Contemporary Avant, Russian Arts Award (2018 and 2019), RUSSIAN ART WEEK, Russian Arts Award and International Art Salon.
