Nikos  Kryonidis

 
 

Nikos Kryonidis (b. 1963) was born in Xanthi and lives in Thessaloniki (north Greece). He graduated from the  School of Architecture of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. 

He paints with his fingers and depicts pictureless action – traces on small and large surfaces of paper or canvas. He designs the human body, illustrates animals, creates compositions with objects of common use and plastic models of animals. In addition to his work as a visual artist, Nikos also produces texts about art, poems and songs which he performs on stage.

Nikos has participated in many group and solo exhibitions and collaborates with the galleries CUBE GALLERY (Patra),  MINIMA GALLERY (Mykonos), OIA TREASURES GALLERY (Thira Santorini), BALKAN ART GALLERY (Xanthi), MANIFACTURA GALLERY (Athens, Tinos, Sifnos) and ZINA ATHANASSIADOU (Thessaloniki). His works can be found in the MOMUS of Thessaloniki, the American College of Greece in Athens and in private collections.
