Toby Leon
Toby Leon is a Sydney based collage artist and business owner, as well as a communication and digital strategist and avid traveller.
His artwork utilises vibrant colour palettes, playful use of scale and an unlikely juxtaposition of imagery. His subject matter is inspired by the places, people and cultures he has interacted with throughout his travels.
“I spent my childhood surrounded by artists, oddballs and academics. Each one taught me a lesson or two, often poignant and true, like, question everything, respectfully and without fear. Their most important lesson of all was the value of being hungry. You should always leave enough room to taste something you’ve never experienced before. So much of my creative freedom and joie de vivre are thanks to them. I’m always hungry, and forever grateful.”
