Alana Woolley

Contemporary artist Alana Woolley is a graduate of Queen’s University Belfast with a First-Class degree in Environmental Biology. John Audubon heavily influences her work, “He is a pioneering biologist and exceptional artist who inspired me to combine my passion for biology with art.”

Her work does not intend to accentuate the beauty of nature, but rather to invite the viewer to begin to examine their natural surroundings and appreciate the beauty that it already holds. In addition to her studio work, Alana also produces glass indoor lights and textile designs. Her work has been exhibited in the Buxton Craft Fair and Earlam’s Café. She established her creative practice in 2019, which has gained considerable traction since it launched.

Alana is available for commission upon request.
