Nicole Howard

Nicole Howard is an illustrator and aspiring concept artist who creates quirky, yet fun illustrations. Working primarily in alcohol-based marker, Howard draws the majority of her inspiration from music, folklore, and the rich tradition of animation. She aims to tell a similar story throughout the work she creates because she feels that stories are a universal facet of the human experience: no matter where you go, there are stories being told and new stories being created.

Hailing from Ontario, Canada, Howard earned an advanced diploma at Sheridan College in the Visual and Creative Art program. In 2014, she illustrated the book Happy Homes for Everyone as part of a fundraising initiative launched by Habitat for Humanity to build affordable housing for families in need. Living in a small agricultural town, Howard has been afforded ample opportunities to showcase her work in local exhibits and contests.

She is available for commission upon request.
