Kathryn Rose Brown

Talented freelance illustrator and comic book artist Kathryn Rose Brown has a passion for autobiographical illustrations, narrative work, and the relationship between art and the written word. Her art, which explores intriguing combinations of pop art references and iconic turns-of-phrase, speaks to her overarching interest in telling visual stories that are both visually attractive and edgy. Unafraid to add a tinge of controversy to her designs, Brown has carved out her own unique artistic niche that speaks resoundingly to the contemporary generation.

Based in the United Kingdom, Brown graduated from Kingston University in 2012 with a fine art degree. She has previously worked with many editorial clients, including The Milken Institute Review, Road Grays Magazine, Solipsistic Pop, and The Bristol Cable. In 2019, Kathryn developed her portfolio to include illustrations designed for mass production on band merchandise and other collectable items that she often updates across her various online platforms.
